TXR

Forums:

I believe they are getting close to reopening. We have been working getting things back into shape. Amazing what happens in three months. Plenty of overgrowths and the homeless moved in on the fringes, what a mess.

Good to see the clubhouse, thanks!

Hang in there.

Thanks for letting us know, and good wishes to all involved.

Someone get the shears and weed removal tools!

Someone get the shears and weed wook removal tools!

Fixed that for you.

Soon Come !!  Thanks for update  Pete !

rmfj doesn't weed whack?

Landscapers were allowed to work outdoor maintenance even during SIP. Did someone underestimate wisteria vines over there? Lol

Ross lives in Colorado.  The place was locked up tight including the parking lot gates. The homeless smashed the windshield of the truck and stole the battery which we recovered from an encampment. There are bike frames and bike tires everywhere. I wish I could say more but I need to wait. People are either going to be very happy or not. One thing I know is that if things go as planned I will be working and you all know what that means.

First name last name confusion nog

About what Turts?

Mecca on the comeback!

It would be shapping up with a canopy over the line!

lots of druggies in that neighborhood  often seen when the damn parking lot is full

I really have no idea why they made the parking lot so much less space efficient

Used to be the heart of town...

...May it be once again

>>> It would be shapping up <<<

Was that intentional, LLTD?

Well judit.....

Opening announcement coming soon.

I think it's going to look like this for a while.

I'm ready.

Drop the tickets!

I'll come volunteer to pick up.

I was hoping for hoodies on the lawn vs. tables.  No sense of humor.

>>About what Turts?<

no awning for the rain!

^ That's the "Outdoor Dining" seating plan right? No way for a concert.

You guys should get hazard pay policing social distancing/mask regulations in the future...

Tickets on sale.

Jeez, what a whiner.

Hope it goes well Peak.

Looks like it sold out pretty quickly.

I hope the weather's nice for everybody there (it seems pretty grey and windy in Berkeley today).

Enjoyment to those who attend!

I see on Facebook that people are still getting tables, check back there if you're thinking of going.

I don't get the tables 6 feet apart but the chairs are inches apart! Splain Lucy! I would never go!

If pods (or bubbles or whatever they're called where you are) of people who've already been together (like families, housemates or people who work together) get a table together they're already exposed to each other so they can be close.

I'm still a proponent of everyone wearing masks.

I'm still isolated with only 3 exceptions (doctor appts.) over the last 3 months. I won't be there either.

^ I knew that answer Judit before you wrote it but I don't trust the other 6 people at my table!

I will be back with my family as soon as the music sways me with no fear.  time to live again for those with no pre existing conditions to slow em down

James, nobody wants to eat with you because you're a homophobe.

Looks like a sweet set up. The problem is that I don't trust folks to keep their distance and keep masks on once they become inebriated. And in the middle of a pandemic I'm not going out to dine anywhere other that take out. Just not ready, yet. And honestly our ability to pay VIP prices especially  now isn't possible. Good for those who can and will, or those who feel ready to be in a scaled down venue. I know many concert promoters and restaurants owners have taken a financial hit and need to open or risk going bankrupt, lucky for Phil the Marin elite will keep his place afloat.  I'm happy for him and the musicians. And the lucky folks who still have plenty of discretionary income to play with during the recession.

plenty of marin middle class will try and help too, Nanc.  your shamey finger generalizes who will show up and why

Really, you got shamey finger from that post?!
No shame intended..

Happy to see TXR opening! I already had plans for tomorrow but will try as bd attend the next event!

Wow. Good Luck!  heart

"Whiner "

we all are entitled to our own opinions

he just doesn't do it for me anymore

to all that enjoy something, go for it.  More power to you

are you all retired  now and judgemental all of a sudden? Jeez

Hey.  I bet that this was before Princeton landing

neil < vs >  Jackie.   Hmmm

I heard that Neil song and thought it was pretty easy to see why it's been sitting on a shelf for over 45 years. Hopefully the rest of the album is better.

And I'm not a Jackie fan either, but this thread is about a venue/business trying to get up & on it's feet again; I didn't see what a snarky shot at Jackie (and possibly at the venue?) had to do with that.

I don't see what Neil & Jackie have to do with each other either.

I guess Zoners just gonna' zone.

Whatever you do, don't order the Salmon Mousse.

Table for 6 anyone?
