Another scumbag band who said last tour but touring again

That was Vince's solo act.  Fucking tool.

But don't worry, Mötley Crüe plans to return in 2022 and will still sux donkey spew.

Not a fan, but by the looks of him, I wouldn't mind throwing down a few shots with Mick Mars

I know the video was from a solo concert on Vince. I can read and see so far.wink

Mick Mars.sad What can you say. Prop him up and give him a shot of embalming fluid and he's off and running.

these guys are how old and they still walk around like that?

i always felt a little bit sorry for people who were really into motley crue.  kiss, as well.

They look like Machine Gun Kelly fans.

Seen them twice, this was the first:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ4SkHmSJk8

and it was a fucking AWESOME show

Haha, I was at that show...Tesla opened

I was fresh off of dead tour, might have even gotten home that day

you know it's summer when they're rocking at Weedsport

....

Have to admit I went to see them in the mid late 80's cause a GF wanted to and of course I went. Allentown Fairgrounds. It was a show, a great rock and roll debauchery show that rock and roll should be. It   was high powered sing along fist pumping excess in all it's retched glory.

I had to take a shower when I got home.

So, would the core 4 be "scumbags" if they got together and played again?

YES

Fare the Well would take on a new meaning

But it ain't gonna happen!

I don't think Crue would be bothered at all by being called a "scumbag band."

I know a lot of people who have seen them live, from 1983 up to 2018, and every one of them says that they put on a kickass live show.

Remember Streisand's farewell tour where people spent thousands to get a ticket to her last show. Well she's a scumbag because she came back and toured again. I would be pissed if I payed ton's of cash to see her. People should have sued her!

>>>> People should have sued her!

Unless she knowingly promoted it as a "final tour" with no intention of actually stopping, don't think she would be liable.  Absent some smoking gun memo or email where she admits hoodwinking the fans or otherwise confirms she had future tour plans, it would be hard to prove she never intended to stop touring after the "final tour."   All she would have to say is "I really did intend it as my final tour, but once I got out on stage, sang the final number and saw how happy the fans were, I had to keep sharing my music with the world."

> I would be pissed if I payed ton's of cash to see her(Streisand)<

People will spend a small fortune to see her, finial tour or not

David Bowie's Sound+Vision tour 1990 was billed as the last time Bowie would play hits back catalog of hits.

Didn't really work out that way. I saw a couple shows on that tour, paid $100 for one ticket. I also found either a fifty, or could have been a hundred dollar bill at the show.

Saw Motley Crue back in the mid 80's, fun show, a gaudy spectacle

what about the Rolling Stones and their shitty decision to tour only a few months after Charlie's death.  you can't tell me money and not "love for the music", were deciding factors.

The stones are estimated to be worth 1.45 BILLION dollars

They are NOT touring for the money

The Stones never said any tour they did was their last. I remember they gave the Who shit for that. And Charlie told them to go on and do it without him!

Oh, the outrage at bands who break up and then get back together...

Remember when the Eagles said they'd reunite when hell froze over? They then did the "Hell Freezes Over" tour.

Get a grip Bri!

Were not talking about bands that break up. Were talking about bands that officially state that this is our last tour ever!!

Get the difference??

Fishcane and you would like this. Apparently the band had a great time too.

https://www.facebook.com/weedsportny/videos/530389674585089/?__so__=perm...

That's fantastic.... love it...

saw a lot of great shows there. Maybe my favorite was Beach Boys n Chicago. Got entire beach boys band minus Brian to sign my record.

another great one was Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe in 89, With Tony Levin on bass.
Saw some band called Phish there once too. 93 I think

To be fair to vince, that seems like a bit of a death trap set up.   There is a basically a 'ha ha' or trench between what looks to be the edge of the stage and the real edge of the stage.

>>Were not talking about bands that break up. Were talking about bands that officially state that this is our last tour ever!!

I sure do get the difference, you friggin' nimrod. Thus my next statement, "Remember when the Eagles said they'd reunite when hell froze over? They then did the "Hell Freezes Over" tour."

You're one angry mofo.

Yes I do as did many bands said Dumbshit. Hence my thread!

Angry mofo!  LOL X 1,000 000 laugh

Plus reuniting and saying last tour ever is different! Don't ya say Einstein?

Some bands take breaks. Others say they are done, but then come back.

Are you saying that once a band breaks up and says it's for good, that they then should live with that for all of history? Like, 7 years later they work through their shit and want to tour again, but they shouldn't because some bonehead in NJ has an issue with it?

A lot of bands have broken up "for good" but then get back together. That is called reuniting. Think of people who get divorced, and then remarry.

Heretofore

Your a lost soul Bri. Give it up. I'm not going to beat a dead horse.anymore.

You really can't differentiate between breaking up and stating that this is our last shows together ever so pay our high prices because you'll never see us again. Then years later because of their excessive lifestyle and rising prices they sell out for the cash and do another tour. FUCK THEM! No more street cred anymore. IMO.  Total sellouts!

Just like Fare Thee Well

who cares?

People who paid big bucks to see their last show!

What about the ones who won their tickets on the radio?

don't their feelings matter too?

>> stating that this is our last shows together ever so pay our high prices because you'll never see us again. Then years later because of their excessive lifestyle and rising prices they sell out for the cash and do another tour.

Yeah, I'm sure that all those bands made conscious decisions to jack up prices on "last tours," knowing that they really wouldn't be. Those nefarious sumbitches!

And in other news, tinfoil hats help you to see the hidden pentagrams in chemtrails.

Never was a fan. A few songs are listenable.
The movie Dirt on Netflix was enjoyable. The TV show where Tommy goes to college was an easy watch.

Never seen them, but I would have no problem going and looking at all them big ol titties in the stands, hell yea

Give it a rest Bri! You've already proven yourself to be a huge troll prick. Your good at smokescreens!

smh

Don't get me wrong. I applaud you for standing up for the rights of the poor dupes who paid $475 to see Crue's last gig in 2019, just to learn that they were finagled..

how many of you clowns saw the who and/or stones after their 50th last tour ever?

asking for myself

do not think i ever saw these guys

was def a fan in highschool

lol

Wasn't the Fare The Well shows supposed to be the end of the Grateful Dead? (I thought that happened in 1995)
Or was that just Phil retiring? Did he really? And then Bobby picks up a young one and keeps on truckin' with DeadCo sad

I thought the last gd show was in 74

FTW was the last time the Core 4 were supposed to perform together, and that has held true.

Surprised no mention of multiple goodbyes by Kiss,  here's Vince's take from 2015....

The members of Mötley Crüe have been asked countless times if they can envision ever taking the stage together again after their Final Tour concludes Dec. 31. With his latest refusal, singer Vince Neil offered former Crüe tour mates Kiss as an example of what the band is trying to avoid.

"Kiss had five farewell tours and four reunion tours. That's exactly what we don't want to do," Neil told the San Diego Union-Tribune. "That was the whole reason. ... We wanted to go out on top, with people saying, 'Yeah, man, I saw the last concert. It was awesome!' We don't want to be that band, where it's [billed as] Mötley Crüe, and it's maybe one [original member's] brother left in the band, and they're playing clubs. ... If we let that happen, we wouldn't be thought of or remembered like we wanted to be."

But don't worry, Mötley Crüe plans to return in 2022 and will still sux donkey spew>>>>

To that end, the band members signed their much-touted "cessation of touring" agreement when they announced these final dates, and although Neil admits breaking the contract wouldn't carry a legal penalty, he insists it's there as a reminder that unlike those other acts, the Crüe's retirement will definitely stick.

> who cares?

do little cares. He's a very big player in the outrage economy.

YES

Fare the Well would take on a new meaning

But it ain't gonna happen!<<<

I, for one, would DEFINITELY NOT consider them scumbags if the core 4 played together again.

Can't help but wonder what Phil may have thought when he presumably heard about Billy missing a show at their age in these strange times?

Just a thread Mikey about the hypocricy and the idiots who let them get away with it.

so many bunched panties on one thread
