That's the reason you see bipartisan support on the final votes for many of the judges recently, as opposed to the Federalist Society wackos they put on the federal appeals courts, who almost all Dems voted against almost every time. Obviously it would be better if you had a Dem president appointing all the judges and a Dem Senate confirming them, but seeing Dems going along on blue state district court nominations right now is not itself a sign that they're rolling over or showing true conservative colors.
They need to work harder to earn votes so this shit doesn't happen. They're clearly not the resistance when they vote in favor of trump judges, or don't even bother to show up to vote him down when they do have a say..
