*What fascinates me about JRAD (as it did for my 47 years with the GD) is that the "miracle" often happens when least expected and on a song that one would never expect the band to kill. Last night, this happened on Cats under the Stars. Simply stated, JRAD both extended it out incredibly and nailed it completely.
Damn, I'm listening to the 2nd set from last night; deeeeep jamming on Bird Song & Feel Like A Stranger. That's what I like to hear, real improv from quality players.
And that sax player sounds less "in front"/much more integrated in the sound than the other shows I've listened to.
These guys are good, and it sounds like they were really digging in last night.

This show was webcast via Live Phish. Can't Always Listen was performed for the first time since December 30, 2015 (142 shows). Free's lyrics were changed to "flea" as a reference to an outbreak of plague transferred by fleas to prairie dogs in the Commerce City area. Trey teased Tired of Waiting for You In Everything's Right. As a further nod to the outbreak, Amie by Pure Prairie League was the postshow music.
Just a heads up for the noobs: don’t park in the EAST LOT. That’s where the Uber exit it.
Even if you bail before the show is over (?) it will take forever to get out. I’d try the Quebec lot especially if you speak French. It was half-empty! Sacré-blëü!!!

Granted, Tube had some fine playing and Slave was great as usual but they still seemed to be shaking off a bit of rust. Today is pointing to a strong Sunday show.
Yes, at least a sealed one up to 32oz. Aside from cost, I don't like to ever buy bottled water ... nor do I like to hold on to it at a show. Having said that, the tap water there is rediculously bad tasting.
