I will be going back to work on 11/13 so I won't be around much during the weekdays. I have been off for 6 months... 

Oh back to Zoner emails...yea...well...sometimes I get emails not from Zoners...

I did a quick search of my emails received and found some oldies but goodies with the subject:  "super secret email" - no worries, they're staying off LaViva. 

Er, Ned, I got your e-mail just four hours ago. Patience, my man. 

I'm working from home and just got back from an appointment. You're asking me about a trip that's six to seven months away. 

Sorry for the delay, but I thought I'd check a river map, maybe even make ya a copy. And think about it a bit as we spent the first three days fighting strong winds that tipped a canoe.

Here's the end of day 3. Lots of wind, dust, and choppy flat water.

First great floating day was day 4. Here's the same canyon the next morning. 

So basically we spent a lot of the beginning of the trip fighting winds and hunkering down and then spent time trying to make miles.

We did so good we got to the confluence a day early. WTF? 

Didn't do a lot of hiking. Did a lot of sitting around camp as we took a buddy who was dying of cancer down for one last hurrah.

Plus it was May of 2010, so I'm gonna have to break some cobwebs remembering any good hikes.

But I will be in touch.

That statement, in conjunction with your other posting on the same thread gives me the impression that you intend to continue going after guy73. Remember, no matter what you read on viva, how you respond is up to you. 
If .net is a better fit for you, take a viva break and go over there. If you want to continue posting at viva, it can't be disrespectful, uncivil or unkind about the person. You do have to quit going after people.

If this happens again, if viva admin has to send you another email about your posting, you'll take a break.

I’m on the other side of the mountain, in the “best beer town in America.” Good thing I’m not much of a beer drinker.

As you’re a foodie, we have a new restaurant in town, Allium. They served up one of the best burgers I’ve had in years.  Brisket/short rib/chuck, bone marrow and red wine reduction sauce, and a lamb and bacon jelly, topped with a Vermont blue cheese. My god, it was delectable. The allium soup, French onion in a marrow broth, is crazy good.
