From link on Facebook:
After years of only playing select venues outside of his own Terrapin Crossroads and Peter Shapiro controlled events/venues like Brooklyn Bown, The Capitol Theater and Lockn Festival, this is a pleasant surprise for his Midwest fans.
He and The Terrapin Family Band will play at the Riveria on November 15 & 16th.
93XRT will have a presale on Ticketfly this Thursday.
The public onsale will be this Friday at 10am.

How about Horning's Hideout 45 minutes west of Portland, or the Cuthbert Amphi in Eugene, for heaven's sake. Schnitzer probably wouldn't book that type of show. Oregon run....long overdue!

Saw W. Panic at Schnitzer early 2000's. It was a nice cushy venue. I think the Phish played there early 90's. So they've had rock shows in the past.

Whether or not you're
Whether or not you're thrilled over the lineup, a night out with Phil and ** some band ** is usually a Fun Time, or at least different than staying home reading National Geographic. And the crowd is generally delightful, compared to the ones you get at real-estate seminars or Beanie Baby auctions.
You have a few drunkards or Cough-Syrup fiends, but it's a happier batch of Drunks & Syrupists compared to your typical Barry Manilow crowd.
So that's why I will probably catch the nearby Phil show.
And if they cover "Oh Mandy" well, that's a Bonus

All true, but at some point
All true, but at some point one has to consider costs, time spent traveling, general hassles, etc. In the past, with a great lineup, those were usually minor considerations. Not with this line up.

I agree with the 'Cost / Fun' ratio as a realistic guide for attending a show (or not). This is why I only venture to the Port Chester place if the lineup has great potential. It is far, and I must deal with Turnpikes, Parkways, GWB's, all a total Buzzkill.
Manhattan is much easier and civilized in comparison. Still, about 50 bucks to cover round-trip train fare and parking at train station.
However, it's not all that bad compared to driving up to PC.
On this fall mini-tour, I can choose between Camden & Asbury Park; neither are that far away mile-wise.
Camden has never appealed to me all that much. It's basically a burned-out ghetto cracktown with a slimy outdoor concrete arena for concerts.
Awesome place for nitrous balloons though... Plentiful industrial-grade gas.
So I'm left with Asbury Park, which isn't very far. The parking is reasonable, and there are lots of Good places to eat.

^Agreed.
^Agreed.
Feeling fortunate that I can see Phil outside with Midnight North for $10 in a little over a week.
BTW: I'll admit being just a little bit bummed that Phil has been playing his Ritter with the red dragon on it over the last few shows that I have attended. My body aches for his big bombs that come more forcefully from his Alembic or Modulus. I can't blame him for taking a little weight off of his aging shoulders, though.
Just about anyone with Phil (for the right price) is still worth attending, IMHO.

Is there any good reason to speculate that Ticketfly might surprise drop tix for these shows, like the drops for Cap shows?
I'm only seeing 19 tix for the Nashville show on Stubhub. Seems like there'd be more.
But a place that small, I suppose they could damn near absorb 500 tix solely thru the band/promoters/family/friends.
