NBA Draft and the Lakers

Forums:

So with the trade of their PG does this for sure mean they are taking the crazy fathers kid?

Then talk of Paul George signing with the Lakers and they were talking about Lebron also. In two years do we have the return of the Lakers as a contender in the west?

The Celtics will take the east next year, my prediction.

a few weeks has changed the landscape.

George to OKC was a shocker and a risk.    Seems like he wanted to leave middle america and then middle america picked him up.   hmmm (lets see how that plays out).  Everyone says they could have gotten more but they didn't want to keep him in the east.  Makes sense.

lonzo....I still feel he's overrated but damn good.    Time will tell if he's as great as the lakers think he is.   I think they got caught up in the local boy.    I still think Jackson, the fourth pick the suns got was the best player in the draft.

I can't see lebron leaving Cleveland although Cleveland isn't making much noise right now.   I get the sense they are 100% focused on Melo.    I don't get the melo intrigue....never seemed like a team player and he's getting old.   Not sure he'd make the difference if they move love to make it happen.    Gotta think love to indiana would be a great fit for both player and city.    But I might take love over melo.   He knows the team and the system.   Not many people (lebron) fighting for him at the moment.
