NBA 2019-2020

Forums:

Should be a fun season with all the turn over.    Let's see who stays healthy.

Particularly intrigued by the Houston pairing....tend to think it will end in typical Houston train wreck.

It will be particularly interesting given the recent political mess most of them find themselves in. This situation is thick with irony, complete with Lebron recently supporting his wallet over the human rights and dignity of Hong Kongers. Their play is less interesting than the current situation they have made for themselves, and what the domestic ramifications will be for it.

Magic are stronger

No big names but they have numbers this year, should have a strong second unit, playoff bound

10, 9, 8, 76ers!

Chinese State Television Vows ‘Retribution’ Against N.B.A.’s Adam Silver

China Central Television, the state-run Chinese television network, said N.B.A. Commissioner Adam Silver would face “retribution” for saying that the Chinese government asked him to fire a league executive who supported the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong this month.

The public threat was broadcast Saturday evening in a commentary, in which CCTV also said that “it is ugly for the president of an internationally influential sports league to openly make up a lie to discredit China.” The broadcast picked up traffic in news media outlets in mainland China and Hong Kong, including the South China Morning Post.

An N.B.A. spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Sloppy opener for the sixers, but they are 1-0. Their defense is going to be stifling.

It was great the see Al Horford ring the bell...
