Chicago man with special needs held hostage, tortured on Facebook Live

 

 

Chicago police have arrested four African-American youths who were seen drinking, laughing and apparently smoking marijuana while a developmentally challenged white youth is bound, gagged and cut with a knife in a Facebook Live video.

The attackers repeatedly refer to the victim as a Donald Trump supporter in the live video, which has since been taken down, but not before others downloaded and reuploaded the file back onto YouTube.

Yeah, this one hit a little too close to home for me.

 

There are a lot of people dear to me, who could've been that guy who was tortured.

 

This thread hit me hard and I felt a strong need to respond.

 

I tempered my post down significantly for civility's sake.

 

I think that's all that I want to say right now, other than I realize why this stuff is stowed in the "Politics" folder.

 

Well, I'll add one more thing: I would eagerly accept an opportunity to sit face-to-face with any or all of you to talk about these topics.  I think some good could come of it.

This is all a question of illegitimacy creating a predator class that mostly is attacking hard-working black people with jobs.”

^Interesting point.  I work with a number of people who have at least one parent who is not present in their lives and certainly consider it a hardship.


So what's the solution?  IMHO, defunding programs like Planned Parenthood and other agencies, which are trying to address reproductive health and related issues, potentially exacerbates the above challenges that you present.

 

BTW: I have many friends who are white, including my wife.  I like white people, in general.

Lets keep funding planned parenthood so that the babies can be murdered before anything bad happens..

 

Part of the solution is to look and see what polices were enacted to gain the "Great Society" and then do the opposite.
