I'm going to nominate BK for ZOTY. My reasons:

In trying times of great polarization and constant conflict and squabbling, BK is ALWAYS open to genuinely discussing an issue, identifying the real arguments, asking people genuine questions about their viewpoints and responding with respect (95% - pretty good for a zoner) and kindness. This is the kind of people that we need in the world today, the folks who are willing to listen to others and generate meaningful discussion. So yeah, he gets my vote.

It's really damned impressive; no matter the subject matter of the thread or the direction of the discussion, 6 only shows up to take a shot, and almost exclusively at certain zoners as soon as they make a comment. He could be dormant for months and then one of his favorites will post something and BAM, there's 6.

I'd vote for him this year for his unwavering commitment to never posting about the thread topic (unless the topic is about a zoner he likes to troll) except that (unfortunately) most of those aren't around much or at all anymore (we miss you St. Mark, hoover, lites, etc.) so 6 hasn't posted enough this year to qualify for the award.

Personally my vote goes to daylight. Whether the subject is food or drugs or music his posts are always educated and thorough, and he's got just the right amount of smartass as well. I suppose what hurts him is that his posts are usually too long for most of us hazzy old boomers to stay with, but he's never logorrheic, unlike some other zoners we know.

Yeah, he definitely does that, and he is usually a nasty little troll, but every once in a while I have seen a post from him that's just about the thread content, usually concerning a show or music, and he's started a few good, non-toxic threads about the same, and I honestly can't recall seeing 6 ever do that. 

I must say though that I don't look at every thread and I'm sure there have been times when he's given an opinion or a thought about something that wasn't about another zoner. I'm sure he's bagged on the Family Band or Shappy once or twice that I missed.

And I regret that 6 doesn't like me anymore. I really wasn't trying to be mean or anything, I was just making an observation that no one has yet refuted, including 6.

I guess I'm coming across as critical, or even trolly (I'm not very good at that) but that was not my intention. And then he lost it. It was painful to watch, but those who pushed him seemed to take great delight in it, like it was a big victory. He ended up getting banned.

Mini - Movie guy was BlueLight out in the Long Island area.  He might have been a bit over - stressed due to the family / housing situation he described.

What I recall is that he had been staying with Parents or similar Family;   then they changed the locks and repo'd/ stole his computer where he edited the Audio and Video for mini-movies.

So that had to have been stressful during Winter.

Anyway the guy was generally pretty Kool,  and attended many shows in the LI area.  No doubt he has rebounded and found a better Housing situation by now.  Wish him Best of Luck and all that.

Blue light was a very cool dude. We would swap all the time. He had a very good ear for music except I did not agree with the Magpie Salute he recommended.

Yes he was pushed around, A LOT, and when he did give a slight push back he got booted.

Nah, it was one post. One of the Krew even has it saved from the old Zone and posted it on Garbagezone. The general response was, "you're trolling him over that?" I'm sure, Timpane, that one of you has that post close at hand. It wasn't "serious sexual misconduct," it was a dirty joke.
