Bill died today with his beloved Robin at his side. He hadn't been feeling well today and was lying down, and didn't answer Robin when she spoke to him. He didn't respond to her attempts to resuscitate him, nor the emergency personnel. He's gone, he's so loved and will be so missed.

I'm saddened to read this announcement. I never got a chance to meet Bill and Robin in person, but from what I came to know of them on the old black screen, they seemed like real good people.

I never met Bill, but I remember meeting you, Schnee, Uhollis and another Zoner whose name escapes me, at the Hot Tuna show in West Palm Beach (Sunfest 2008). This was around the time you were packing up to leave Palm Beach County to head north to be with Bill, if my memory serves me well.

This is heartbreaking news to wake up to. I didn't know you guys "in real life," but you have been dear friends via the social web for years. Nobody has given me more "likes" and other reactions to my posts than Bill, and the thought that there will be no more is a profound ending.
Robin, deepest most sincere condolences. You are deeply loved by so many, and I know that your friends are and will reach out to you in sympathy and do what they can to help and support. May you be comforted in your inconsolable grief, and may Bill's memory always be a blessing.

So many of us remember watching them fall in love in real time and even if we playfully teased, openly mocked, or you know some were actually hostile toward it /:
But none of that mattered because no external thing could affect when two people are meant for each other.
His brilliant alien Aquarian brain that matched so perfectly with Robin's logical brilliant Capricorn self.
This one really hurts. Because it doesn't just hurt Robin although she's the one that we're all loving so hard right now. Bill was really something special someone special to us and the universe. It shouldn't have been him.
