One More Saturday Night

I had a great time but this being my second show a lot of what made it great was lost on me. I do remember thinking I really wanted to go again. Brought my girlfriend who was not impressed. I remember her saying that Dancing was too long and slow and she thought Candy Man was a botched version of the Sammy Davis Jr song, but she did bring me back to that shed to see the Kinks so it was not all bad. First in a long line of girlfriends/wives who kind of liked it but couldn't get to that next level.

Would love to see this show remastered.

fog -- thick thick thick fog on the way home

funny what you remember

Thanks Doc - meant to post the link.

Great show! I was not present but have a really solid recording. Speaking of bugar sugar, I didn't think Jerry was too speedy but in a discussion with a friend about it being sorta trippy but also slowed down in a way, he said, "I think it's called heroin." Ouch.

>>>funny what you remember

I don't remember the fog but I do remember that once you got outside after the show you could stand 20 feet from the door and still be kept warm from the hot sweaty air rushing out of that shed.

Also remember that this was a 'take a step back show" I was on the side not on the floor and everybody did take a step back but as soon as the first notes of Dancing started everybody on the floor seemed to run forward to fill in the new space that was created and the people up front got double crushed. Also pretty sure they were passing passed out bodies over the crowd toward the stage. You had to be passed out to crowd surf at a Dead concert.
