My fiance's mom bought me Joni Mitchell's, Mingus, on vinyl as a little surprise. I plan on listening to it sometime this evening.

fiancee ? congrats

Thank you. Yeah, he's alright, I guess. ;)

I also read of David Berman's passing last week, and learned about a lot of his music from this dude I follow on Instagram. He put up a picture of his newly released album called Purple Mountains- and just wow...really really good and appeared to me to be his swan song, penning lyrics that now read like a goodbye to this world.

Caught some Mandolin Orange on youtube.  Pretty damn beautiful music.  Anyone caught them live?

Strictly Youtube, so far.  I stumbled upon them one night (In my Youtube feed.  Yay for algorithms?) after being awake for around 60 hours.   I was so tired I didn't get the pun right awaysmiley

I'd like to see 'em on a bill w/ Shovels & Rope.
