Not Fade Away

11/10/99 in New Haven (my last of many shows at the NH Coliseum) and 11/13/99 at the Meadowlands were two really amazing shows.

I saw a few shows on this tour, including that New Haven show mentioned above. Both bands were on fire. Seeing Bob sing Highlands in Worcester is a career highlight...This tour was what brought me to the philzone for the first time

My first Phil & Friends show and my first exposure to Derek, I was blown away.  The next night at Temple was good as well but not like this.

This was also when I was introduced to the Zone.

I too was at the New Haven show, 10 feet from the stage dead center, top notch stuff. I had already seen Derek about 6-8 times warm up the mule,  and just dtb once at Trinity college where I hung with jaimoe +  seen Frogwings + DTB earlier that year at Toads, but this was the 1st time seeing Derek play dead jams. Welcome to the family kid. Mindfuck good. Then Bob and band, on. Great show. RIP NH Coliseum

Continuing to Discs of 7~2 and ~ 7~3 _ 1999 --- David Nelson was There ! i may plow through all 1999.

It's a beautiful thing Local!

I saw the show in Canandaigua with the guys from Little Feat and Robben Ford, and they played Dixie Chicken. Lovely.
