The truckers were never before and have never since been better (live, at least) than they were with jason in the band. And shonna too for that matter. But that's just my opinion.
which is really an indictment of his remarkable talent even when he was wasted and buried three guitars deep in the mix
But this isn't really about that
It's just about him recognizing and leveraging his privilege to hold space for other musicians who probably wouldn't ever get the chance.
