Would you Rather go see Little Feat for $60 or

In the same town

If you had a choice of buying a Little Feat ticket for $60 with $9 beers or

a nice RHCP cover band for $10 with $6 beers where would you end up?

id do RHCP cover - any savings go to an 1/8th of chronic and beers for home..yescool

neither sound like a great option

Depends on how much you like Little Feat and when was the last time you have seen them.   They aren't getting any younger and if you really dig Little Feat and haven't seen them in years, $60 might be ok.   Pushing it, but still the price of going out to dinner.   Skip the $9 beers and get liquored up before hand or sneak in a flask.

neither sound like a great option <<

Saw Little Feat this past Monday night.  One long set; about 2 hours.  Very enjoyable, but, alas, they aren't getting any younger, and the music was a bit subdued.  Ticket prices for the show were $49.50 and $75.  Luckily,I got comp'd wink

Maybe try the old pizza delivery for the band trick?

Hmm. I was passing on Feat @ $40 a decade ago.  No interest in faux Peppers, but I think I'd like to see the real deal, depending on the guitarist.

BTW The thumbnail down one from Live Now link has last nights Grubman show

Nice

Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band? I don't get it.

Saw LF a couple of years ago at a street fair. They sounded like a cover band.

I would pass on both of those options.

Take the money!

And RUN!

To The Beer Store !
