$80 to see Los Lobos in a small theatre?

No, but I don't make Thom money. They do free shows.

Just watch Colors. You'll get your fix.

Only if you can trust Los Lobos fans to not put molly in your beer.

Los Lobos is playing an early & late show electric night and also an acoustic night at Yoshi's in Oakland in late May. $69 for those, which is way more than I'd usually spend for LL.

I'm considering the electric night only because that room is so small, 250 - 300 packed, and it's a tiered, quality room, not an over-packed little bar.

Well, that and because they're good.

But then the early/late show deal will put time constraints on them, especially for the early set. If I can finagle a way to pay for one set and see the other for free I'll do it for sure.

But in the same situation I'd probably go to the Skerik thing.
