Starts on Sunday and presents a huge money making enterprise for the daring. They just announced there will be no beer sales inside the game and alcohol sales in Qatar in general are limited to non-Muslims in a small handful of licensed restaurants, bars, and hotels with a single liquor store in the entire country. Lots of thirsty amped up futbol fans and no booze = $$$$ at one for six, two for ten in the lot. Cue up the East Bound and Down.

The ban on alcohol consumption appeared to apply only to fans at stadiums. Beer and other drinks, including an official FIFA Champagne and an array of sommelier-selected wines, will still be available in luxury suites reserved for FIFA officials and other wealthy guests.

Went to a baseball game in Phoenix once and they do that there. Got in early and the roof was open, then right before the game starts they close the roof and start pumping in the AC.
