~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Continuation of the "Women and ---" Series from 2017; Local Charleston female artists interpreting male perfomers music. We caught Women and the Stones last year. Next in the series is Women and Petty. This one was really cool to hear the women interpret Dead with leanings towards their own background and influence. Dead with an angle of vocal jazz or gospel is really interesting. Always a fun time. And as always, huge thanks to our friends at the Charleston Music Hall for encouraging the recording of live music.
