My neighbors are here at the beach for the week and they asked me if I wanted to join them for the debate. 4 ladies in their late 70's and 80's from Northern Virginia, their husbands were in the military (RIP) and they have been volunteering for the Biden campaign for months. They said come on over, we are stocked up on wine and ready to rumble! Totally cracked me up! I'm going to have to go.

Pence is a better debater
Pence is a better debater than Trump. He was credited with besting Tim Kaine in 2016. I appreciate your enthusiasm, MG, and definitely think Harris has a stronger position to advocate from, but I wouldn't call this one a slam-dunk. Pence is a weaselly little bastard, and given the stakes, will probably throw a few haymakers. It will be interesting to see how Harris takes a punch. Given the age and shaky health of the two presidential candidates, this will be a very interesting and somewhat unprecedented VP debate.
