Both are free. The Belmar show is sponsored by WBJB 90.5 FM and is on the Belmar boardwalk between 5th and 6th Avenues and starts at 7PM.The Asbury show starts at 6PM. Because of the times, it is possible to catch Bonerama in AP, leave a little early and catch the tail end of Sonny Landreth. While Asbury Park plays the no dogs on the boardwalk rule loosely, in Belmar they don't. If your dog steps foot on the boardwalk during the season, the owner ends up with a minimum $250 fine and 2 full days of community service. They are real tight asses about it.
The par for the course at Asbury is opening Band "Enjoy" at the 6 PM start time. They are local Musicians and sound Good.
So I'm torn between the two acts, but can't do both. The Dog actually wears a Rhinoceros costume when out in public. No Jerseyland Coast towns have any enforceable statutes against pet Rhinos, yet.

Saw Sonny open for MULE. His bass player used a pick and played only down-strokes, regardless of the tempo.
It looked exhausting.
