Don't discount the man.

He was a rocker.

A band ahead... beyond their time?

Big league stuff.

The Tubes were the shit live...  epic!

Was part of the sound crew for a Mickey Hart show once, with Vince fronting many of the tunes.  They learned "the Lion sleeps tonight" during sound check, moved the songs key around a few times, worked on harmonies, did a decent version.  When they played it during the set He just smoked it, they all did!  (Mickey played bass on "Papa was a rolling stone").  Many fun stories that day...

 RIP

Great live show...saw them in early 80 s a few times...at the old Agora Ballroom in West Hartford

----can't clean up-but I know I should-----

Caught Tubes @ Bimbo's in 76 around the time the first album came out- it was the "hip" place to be.

Quite a show with Fee running around the room  with that fucking chain saw- - - jeez.

Malaguena Salarosa was great.

Twelve years gone by already since we lost him this month, June 2nd.

Ratdog did a one time tribute to their former keyboard player at their next show.

The Tubes had 2 videos in heavy rotation when MTV was launched, She's a Beauty and Talk to You Later, features both Vince and Prairie Prince

Fee was just an adequate chain saw player, at best. He couldn't even hold Wendy O. Williams' electrical tape on his best day.

Vin had a great smile.
