I just found out about this guy. Perhaps I've heard him on a show I was streaming and assumed I was listening to Space. Did you see him perform with the Dead in 74? What was it like? The couple minutes I spent looking into him sure didn't sound like music. Am I missing something?

There is an album called "Seastones" and in 1974 Phil & Ned did a bunch of "Set 1.5" Seastones jams between the usual GD set I & II. I think the Jai-Alai Fronton 6/23/74 was the first one. 10/20/74 Winterland was last 'Phil & Ned' and last Wall Of Sound show.

I saw him- in 74- @
I saw him- in 74- @ Winterland. (October)
He and Phil did their little electronic thing before the second sets- somewhat unremarkable to me , anyway.
During the hiatus in 75 - word was on the street one day that Garcia/ Phil and Ned were playing for free late one afternoon in a small/ darkened school auditorium in San Rafael next to 101.
We dropped by and checked it out for a while- it was dark....and weird. David Crosby was also supposed to have been up there- but it was so dark you couldn't really tell.
