The one that you had to find Reddy Killowatt in Where's Waldo style to get a link to the tickets? For some reason I think it was around Easter so there may be an anniversary around now.
The Larry McCray shows? 04/09/07 and 04/10/07
Thanks for bringing us to that 2nd night, Tony!
Closest I've ever been to Phil. And to a lot of Zoners, lol.
Thanks to Warren showing up for night 2 and Molo for playing while sick. Larry on Blow Away was damn good. Back in the years when Phil thought that anyone could keep up with that madness.....Sometimes great, sometimes not so much.
Night 1, I discovered Stub Hub and paid like $200 to get in. Wrote in a review that Larry McCray soldiered on like a pro, but - not only did he not know the songs, he didn't know the jam band genre. Pretty sure that it was Jaz Sawyer on drums? That would make 2 newbies in the band. Stood directly behind Phil's manager and he was all hand gestures about smiling and keeping things positive. SOB show #1 seemed to fall apart repeatedly.
Show # 2 set 1 was better, but still rocky IMHO. When Warren's guitar tech walked in carrying a guitar, every eye followed him ... and then Warren. Show #2 melted.
