BC, (before Corona), I would ride my bike to the store if I only needed a couple items. The grocery store and the corner Walgreens did not have a bike rack so I would take my bike inside while getting my items. After a short talk with the managers of both locations they have installed bike racks for me. I guess they did not like me walking my bike through the store, or they thought it was a nice idea for the community.
After watching that video I will have to upgrade to one of those U locks, or two. I currently use a cable with no issues, but I rarely leave my bike unattended.

I've had the same Kryptonite u-lock since 1995. I think it used to have a guarantee or the price of your (stolen) bike back.
