Unfortunately, I can't order the podcasts included in the above link, so:

Jack

Deadline WH
The Bulwark
Cafe Insider (JV)
Cleanup on Aisle 45
Talking Feds
It's Complicated
Trippi Show
Legal AF

i would rather jam my dick in a meat grinder

^ that's what looms on the horizon; also power tools, lots of power tools used for things they were never intended.

I need laughs with my fuckery news, so:

The Stephanie MiIler Show (actual FCC-regulated radio) on Free Speech TV.

Allison Gill Stuff (Jack/Aisle 45/Daily Beans (News...with swearing, and theme music by They Might Be Giants))

Just Ask The Question (Brian Karem). An old friend who now works for Congressional Quarterly was quoted on JATQ a couple of weeks ago.  That was a "Wait...what?" moment.  He did a ton of reporting on the last Robert Menendez scandal, so his phone has been ringing a lot lately.

Bob Cesca Show

John Fugelsang (an hour carved out of his 3-hour daily show).

Hal Sparks

Colbert, Meyers and Kimmel consistently killing it on Drumpf/MAGA/GOP.  Jimmy Fallon still mostly lame AF.  The GOP's stepping on rakes and pissing on the electric fence are themselves funnier than anything his writers come up with in response.

^ Thank you for the recs!  I've added a few to check out, but I've realized that I don't like humor mixed with insurgency.  I have a very difficult time laughing at 99% of Trump jokes.  I guess there's a MASH sort of meatball surgery humor aspect to all of it, but I think things are going to get a lot worse before they get better ... so it's premature for that sort of "flavor" of comedy, yet, IMO.

I also really like Alison Gill, but along similar lines as above, I always click "Mark As Played" immediately AFTER I hear the "Good News" jingle (which I like for whatever reason).  If I had to offer up some constructive criticism about AG it's that she's sometimes laying it on a little too thick with the Trump impersonations ... kind of reminds me of playing basketball in the neighborhood growing up with a group of friends; half of which were serious and another half who were always willing to start goofing around ... the former had to keep the latter "in line" until the end when there was no hope.    Having said that, I think she has a great dynamic with McCabe and PS ... where her levity is balanced by their more relatively straight-laced approach.

Figured I ought not to hold out, so here's a link to all of my podcasts (not just insurgency-related):

Of note, I find interesting:

Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast

John Brown Today

Listening To America (was The Thomas Jefferson Hour)

The Rest Is History

^ This last one I recently stumbled upon and like a lot; partly because it's by two blokes from across the pond ... and offers interesting insight about historical events in the US from England's perspective

As far as political stuff, I watch clips of the the Majority Report on youtube.

regarding podcasts in general (there are about 10 that i listen to regularly),  'A History of Rock-n-Roll in 500 Songs'  is a great listen. I highly recommend it.

The episode on Dark Star is almost 4 hours long and the first hour and a half is all about Coltrane, Ali Akbar Khan(sp?) and Ravi Shankar.
