That's not fair, Jambone.

There's plenty that's godawful in every set.

W a Ripple encore...^

How was it Voodoo?

I liked it!  I went with no expectations and was very pleased. Good sound where I was, good mix.  Bob in good form -only a couple twangs of cringe all night. HA! Surprisingly good jams but the best was how funky it felt at times. Like groovin.  Bobstar was relaxed- except for a tech glitch. Good crowd, full bars. easy in, easy out.

Was: FAN.

Not bad for a Tuesday.

Fly, glad you enjoyed it, as I did. Sound was much better than the thinness of the streams. Yes there were the usual forgotten lyrics and tech shit but the Cassidy ( good call Merl) Gonesville & masterpiece got us off to a great start. On Little red roosters bobs tone from what look like a Hollow body Les Paul was very Weiresque.  I was loving it. Bob didn’t After the song he called his tech over to something was up too loud or too loud but not for me. Was laid down a nice groove for Easy Answers, and made the whole night very danceable. Lucy finished strong and the Sailor/Saint just finished

Second set was as good as it looks, a (15min?) acoustic Birdsong w/Tom Hamilton was probably the highlight. He came back for the China>Rider, the Ripple was such a treat.

I was thinking how blessed I’ve been to see these Bob shows the past few years. solo, the duo, and the Wolfs, each interesting in its own and very fun to Bob play acoustic.

Go to the show...

Thanks Voodoo, and Fly,  for reviews.
