Wow. Guess Koons was cold

That was deep, it kind of blew my mind.

It blew a lot of peoples gaskets back in the states when they found out about it without their knowledge or permission.

Wow never saw that . Thanx 4 posting.

Wow swimming in that river even way up near the Nepal border, no thanks. Spent some time in Varanasi further down river where they run 24/7/365 crematoriums to scatter the ashes of anyone rich enough to have that done. Train loads of bodies arrive constantly as they have been for thousands of years, and there are constant funeral processions with garland draped bodies on stretchers being carried through the ancient streets that are so narrow you can't even get a tuk tuk down them. If your ashes are scattered there you end the cycle of life and ascend into heaven. Not sure how much Jerry is going to enjoy Hindu heaven.

i really don't want to watch that.

poor jerry.

whoa, that brought some tears....

curious to know who the woman in the print dress is...

@kxela up river from Rishikesh where this took place probably isn't bad to swim in. At Varanasi where I spent a week in 91 that's a different story. But I did really love Varanasi. I could have spent a month there easily. Next time.

And Jerry is smoking charas now with Shiva!

Yeah I wasn't really interested in going there but then it turned out to be the cheapest flight out of Katmandu and we needed to get back into India. I was there in December right after 9/11 so ten years after you were there. After I got there I was really glad it worked out that way. One of the most interesting places I've been.

A few more Varanasi pics My hotel there was like a minute or 2 up from the burning ghats. Had a great rooftop with awesome views. Paid like $2 a night. Have some great pics of there.
