Dweezil Zappa Northampton MA Academy of Music tonite, only $38.50, & seeking a cheap/freebie from some poor sap whose friends/wife couldn't go, most of balc unsold. I've had great luck showing up ticketless @ shoes like this the past few months, getting in free/cheap almost all the time.

Possibly Newport Jazz Fest on Sun, weather forecast is perfect, want to see that new Hudson band (Scofield, Medeski, DeJohnette, etc), only downsides are they only get 1:15 time slot, & everything else I wanna see is @ the same time (they have 4 stages now, not like the old days when sets were 2+ hr's on 1 stage). Also it's $80 + SC's, & a 2+ hr drive all on back roads. Ouch!
