Weekend cooking

Forums:

Hot wings with potato salad and corn.

It might rain.

Sounds good.

Stuffed salmon tonite, and tomorrow, we'll make a pizza. We're going to the beach.

gonna hang out in the hot trailer all weekend long and eat nothing but hot dogs and cheez whiz on the shittiest buns.

Nothing wrong with a good weiner.

Add chili.

Pork tenderloin, kim chi, lettuce/red bell pepper/garbanzo bean salad tonight. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Cold burger left over from last night. Heat up a bowl of my yummy greens. Fix some zucchini.  Maybe some leftover fried rice that I made a couple days ago.   A little home-made apple sauce.

We'll see about tomorrow.  Maybe go to the store. Get some rockfish.

At least it's not hot dogs and cheesewiz.....

i harvested a pound of rhubarb today as well as a lot of bitter and salad greens - got perfect weather for both.

Cooked hummingbird syrup, does that count?

Doing pan-seared scallops with scallions and buttered morel mushrooms over arugula for dinner. Sort of a treat myself thing as all week I've been trying to pare down the leftover avalanche in my freezer without just tossing everything out. I mean, I went to the trouble of storing it...lol. Tonight I will not dine on mystery Tupperware fare!

We were at the beach too long so it's pizza tomorrow. Had clam cakes on the water instead.

Fucking love scallops.

Beyond burgers, all garden potato salad, braised spring broccoli and cauliflower.

Boojum -  King of the Mountain dipa

damn, I want Dise's dinner. long time since I splurged on scallops.

i have a chicken baking right now. I was going to smoke that on the gas grill, but it's cool and windy outside and raining a little so I'm cooking inside. Homegrown artichoke along with that.

for tomorrow i have korean-style ribs to grill (cut thin across the bones).

Hot wings<<<

Is there something unnatural about being able to "harvest" and consume appendages from a dozen different animals in an extremely short period of time with very little effort?

You can order a basket of baby veggies with $80 and very little effort.

Yeah, but do veggies have eyes / a face?

None.  It's our anniversary weekend (31), so we ain't cooking.  Went out for a ludicrously expensive, "celebrity-chef" (David Burke) dinner last night.  It was awesome (scallops & octopus Vera Cruz), but the portions were bullshit for the money.  We can make up for it by going to our fave Italian place, where you can make five meals out of some of the entrees.
