Warren's Last Waltz Tour Fire Sale

Forums:

Brother Warren and friends doing a Last Waltz tribute next Wednesday at the Oakdale.
Ticket special today -
2 for $50

That is all

He has a great cast of musicians in the band. I'm going to try to go somewhere.

Aws I saw George Carlin there, among other greats

My first apartment was right around the corner <3

And thanks for the heads up, pal

I don't understand why the show is seated at the Fox in Oakland

^^^ because a lot of the Last Waltz fans are older and don't want to (or can't) stand up all night.

I am in for St. Augustine.  Looking forward to it although I didn't get the $25 tickets.

Hoping for a Taz sit in, the kid is as good as advertised. He recently moved from out west to New Haven and he's playing the night after the Oakdale show with Trouble No More (picture)  at college st music hall, I'll be there too. If you haven't heard about him yet, you soon will. He's the tall smilin' fro in the back, love that kid.

shows at the cap are still 90 bucks

In at St Augustine

See ya there Ken........Or not

Cool Tim.   We will be at our usual spot at the very top - Sec 302, Row MM, Seats 145 - 147, but down for a meetup in the lot before hand.

Just checked the amphitheater website and its less than half sold.  If they don't start selling more tickets, I suspect they might move all the people up in the upper level down under the awning.  They did that for Emmylou, but we still stayed at the top where there is a view of the lighthouse and plenty of room.

I'm in for El Cajon

Thanks for the reminder Raz ! The Miss's and I will be in attendance! Psyched

My cousin was at the show at the Cap last night.  He said it was stellar.

Have you seen Warren's recent haircut? New and different I saw a picture on facebook but can't find it.

Maybe it wasn't real....

El Cajon?   That's not a Warren Haynes led band.   It is local San Diego musicians.

Well that was damm near too much fun. Never sat down, danced my spine straight. Fantastic band in top form. Too many highlights,, King Harvest, Evangeline, Makes No Difference, Chest Fever, Acadian Driftwood,  Rag Mama, pretty much the whole show was a highlight. Down South In New Orleans, just sweetness all over. Jamey's voice is a thing of beauty. I can't recall ever seeing Warren play a strat before, the Les Paul made an appearance later. By far section 208 was the rockinest in the joint.  Surrounded by drinkin dancin singin highhead princes + princesses bumpin (fists + butts) huggin passin vapes shuckin n jivin all nite, thank you all. A special thanks to our hall monitor Jaysen who made sure we had enough room to enjoy ourselves to the fullest, great guy, great nite.

The Band music last nite, ABB tonight at College St. Life ain't too bad.

Hey Raz, did you ever hear a better version of Georgia?

Damn man,  I'm trying to remember back to the free Ray Charles concert on the New Haven green to see if it compared(I can't recall) but the dude last night was fantastic! I need a audio copy

^ yeah man ! Georgia !!

The entire band was hittin it all nite, but the thing that really gave us all the WOW factor was Jamey's voice.

What a force, powerfully angelic. Quite the power charge you up show.
