*WARNING* Music Topic ~@& LIVE Stream !!

Forums:

Don't get all upset because it's not some political BS.

Live PinkTalkingFish stream here:

http://mixlr.com/pinktalkingfish/

The PinkTalkingFish seem to be buffering a lot,  due to WiFi issues at the venue.
However,  it's cleaned-up quite a bit last few minutes.

But there's always "Leftover  Salmon" stream going live soon...

http://mixlr.com/leftover-salmon/

why quotes for LOS but not for that shitty cover (3 bands) band.

good warning though, that cover band blows.

Thanks for the LOS stream!

I've seen both live a few times,  and get a kick out of each.  Granted,  Leftover has more touring experience,  but they are both more fun listening compared to those old Billy Joel LP's.

Wouldn't say PTF is a shitty cover band.  They're actually a pretty good cover band.  Maybe not "Aussie Floyd"  or "The Machine"  but still OK.

Knote,  you're welcome.

Don't trash the piano man.

Tela is an unusual but welcome cover.

One Of These Days...

I'm thinking PTF had one of the best turnouts at the free Asbury Park shows this Summer.  They seem to have gathered a following and/or reputation.

The demographic for everything I attended there on the Beach is teens to grandfolks,  mostly 20-50 year-old people.

Some weeks seemed to draw a larger crowd than others.  "Kung Fu" had a good draw.

Thanks for not answering my question.

Jeebus divide,  what was your question man ?

The stream links are posted there.

They are the ones that start with "http"  something.

i admit i used a period instead of a question mark, my bad for you not understanding the first part of my post was a question. Here it goes again, more articulated:

Why did you use quotes for LOS but not for that shitty cover band when you posted the links to their shows?

As a founding member of Psycho Genius, I have the slightest amount of respect and resentment for talkingpinkphish

I've seen "phishtalkingpinko" at a festival. I think I heard three bands play Girlfriend is Better that weekend, definitely two.

Besides the usual dreck of Floyd,  Phish and T-Heads covers I heard a "David Bowie" cover in there.  Not the Phish tune called "David Bowie"  but a DB tune that Phish has covered in the past.

Anyway I enjoy their stuff. Liked the Salmon set as well.
