The beautiful vintage theatre that was the only place besides the Warfield and Radio City Music Hall to get a three-set with an opening acoustic set in 1980 from the GD.

This afternoon, the authorities in New Orleans are clearing the blocks near Rampart and Canal in the French Quarter for a controlled explosion meant to safely bring down the two damaged building cranes looming over the construction site for the Hard Rock Casino, which partially collapsed.  The Saenger is in close proximity.
