It's more the fact that actual people with some extra money looked around at the world and said I'm going to give this moron some of it. I honestly have more respect for people who give money to Trump.
If you vote for a third party candidate who is not on the ballot in all 50 states it is the same as not voting but with the added hassle of actually going through the motions.
