Anybody hear anything? It’s been more than a month since wife #1 went missing. McDoobs, I hope you and wife #2 are hanging in there. I can’t imagine how hard it is. Have you heard anything back from law enforcement? I did a google search and didn’t see anything new in the media. Hope she’s safe and you guys get some closure.

The Steve Miller reference
The Steve Miller reference was for "Take the Money and Run." According to the Websleuths, Janet already had a warrant out for her arrest in Washington State for larceny. I think their operating theory is she was about to get busted for embezzlement of her current employer and is now hiding out somewhere with the loot.
Its also interesting that half the Websleuth postings were debating the pros and cons of medical marijuana. Some of the Websleuths suspect her involvement in the cannabis trade may have something to do with her disappearance.
There was also some discussion of "gearhead" v. "deadhead"

Quick update- McDoobie has been actively engaging with our investigative team over on Websleuths.com, and some new information has emerged.
McDoobie believes Janet gave him the long hug goodbye the morning she took off. It also appears Janet was showing signs of caregiver burnout, after years of financially supporting McDoobie and wife #2 (who has special needs). Janet's checkered past has come to light, and it turns out she has a rap sheet as well as at least two aliases (her madien name as well as her name from a previous marriage).
The current consensus hypothesis from both McDoobie and team Janet Watch is that Janet took off voluntarily. Obviously this must be a tough pill to swallow for McDoobie, but he's coming to terms with it.

Yep, our governor is cutting health benefits and cost of living pay increases to State employees, offing $10k for people to move here. They don’t even have to work here and pay income tax, just buy a house. He’s also making sure that the property taxes on those second homes stay low.

I don't think anyone here necessarily dislikes the banned zoner in question. Questioning his version of events surrounding his wife's disappearance and also wondering why Admin brought his drama here doesn't mean we don't like him. Allegedly there was a crime (or three) committed. Some believe criminal organizations were involved. At last report, the coppers have not found the missing person.

Actually Gravy I don’t believe she is white but that’s not key to the story. Her being disabled was a big part of the story because Janet was he primary care giver and McDoobie was worried about how he would be able to care for her.
