These guys have done a thorough job of listing events.

I did not know about them before.

Im too lazy to link it, but I heard The Underground has moved permanently to a cave at the base of Moneagle TN.

Gorgeous area that straddles two timezones and used to be a summer retreat of wealthy Floridians fleeing the humid swamps.

Stringdusters are coming to Hartford in a few weeks.  I'm going to that, unless there's really bad weather.

Just saw the Stringdusters..... I just can't get into them.... extremely talented palyers, but they constantly and rapidly switch identities between traditional and jamgrass which I  find discombobulating....and they seem just too plain "cleancut" in every way.... I imagine them tattling on other kids in gradeschool.... I enjoyed Leftover much more

The David Grisman Bluegrass Experience is at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley tonight & tomorrow.

I didn't see the Hartford date,  but they have a rather extensive tour scheduled.

Probably head over to Asbury "it's an easy drive" Park show.

Was looking at the 'Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival"  that's been happening over 40 years and I've never went. That's early September,  free camping.

Disco Stu, I was just recommending the Delaware Valley festival to someone this evening!  I haven't been in over a decade but I have had some great

times there.  It was the first place I saw Bill Monroe.  It is definitely worth attending.  Hope I make it this year.

Yes,

Mr. Jimp,  the DVBF is only about 1.5 hours South of me,  and I'm surprised that I've never attended.  I see that the fare is reasonable and no fee for camping / parking,  so I really ought to head over this year.

About 100 bucks for a weekend ticket seems a pretty good deal!

Stringdusters are playing Northampton MA, my mistake, that diminishes my interest as it's an hour away.  They seem more "traditional' than either Cabinet or Leftover Salmon, both of those bands define "Smurf Music" to me . . .

Salmon ain't smurf music.
