Turntable Update

Forums:

I picked up the turntable and my friend and I hooked it up today. NO HUM!!! Maybe the connections are tighter or who knows what, there's NO HUM!

We played the album A Salty Dog by Procol Harum LOUD and there is NO HUM. I love that album. I am so happy! SO HAPPY!

Thanks for all of your input and help.

Love.

Nice to hear you got it running right !!

IL Primo has run every Morning since it was fixed.

Yup, just a ground problem that was lifted.

I want to get that album now. Seems timeless.

Enjoy. Glad it worked out.

Happy spinning!

Good first choice, Judit. It brought me back to my first rock show - Procol Harum opening for 10 Years After. Glad it's working.

Simple pleasures really are the best.

Enjoy

Glad things are humming along, so to speak.

Just got mine fixed today to. let's rock, Miles will be blasting here tonight up to the Duo starts in nyc

I think I'm going to go through my Jeff Beck albums. In fact, I'll put one on now. So glad you're back with the records, Jeff.

Right ON Judit yesyes !

Vinyl rules.

I started with Wired - tomorrow will be Truth and Beckola, maybe with Jan Hammer, and then also with the Jan Hammer group.

Knotesau, what's your point? I thought maybe you'd posted recently in that thread but I didn't see it, so what's up?

I wasn't making a point.

I posted on Thursday when I was listening to music.

Sorry for bothering you.

lol

Very nice! Love that period of Jeff Beck! I think I got Wired, Truth and Beckola as a 3 albums for $10- special back in New Brunswick around '81-'82. Cheap Thrills was the record store.

Another 3 for $10- special there netted me Countdown to Ecstasy, Royal Scam and Katie Lied. Good times.

Now I've got songs from Wired stuck in my head...

I hope that's okay, John.

Had a little change of direction, went to Blow by Blow next. Not sure what will follow. I've been thinking of Geoff Muldaur, with and without the Jim Kweskin Jug Band.
