JK did just play at the Cap as one of Oteil's friends - and will be playing with him tonight and tomorrow at Brooklyn Bowl - so I guess Oteil still appreciates JK.
I was at the Saturday cap show.....real nice band.....big Melvin fits in nicely w Oteil........dynamite and Valerie were solid....expressway as well....the band will continue in 2019....JK might have semi-work ahead.....saw Krasno in Garcia's after and he said they have shows and some festy's booked for next year.....
Dissing JK is part of the fun. I can enjoy him and refer to him as Fake Jerry, just like I can enjoy D&Co and refer to them as going to see John Meyer.
I get that. I generally like him as a player but I call him Fake Jerry myself, and 'Mayernaise' is too good to let slip by even though I've shockingly come to like him (in D&C) as well.
Sometimes I just forget that this place can still be what made the original place most famous.
