We gave out about 150 treats to the kids, and 80 blood orange margaritas and home baked cookies to the grown ups.
And on a sour note, the chatter on nextdoor.com is all about thieving kids. Parents leave out bowls of candy and expect the goblins to take a couple of piece while they're out walking with their kids. This year though dozens of bowls went missing. Boo Hoo. Come on, either figure out a way to have someone at home to pass out the candy or assume the risk that some teens are going to take everything. Anyhow, there are already 2 videos posted of some of the candy thieves on nextdoor.com. Poor kids today can't get away with any mischief..
