Tours You'd Like To See Happen

Forums:

Steve Winwood and Stevie Wonder.

They were both childhood prodigies from the same era, and were both dubbed "Little Stevie".  They could guest on each other's songs.

Can you imagine Stevie Wonder on "Empty Pages" or Steve Winwood on "Higher Ground"  I can.

Steve Kimock Band doing instrumental Peter Cetera covers.

There's some melodies in those tunes that Kimock could really make soar.

jimmy page band. keeps talking about gettin a band together for a tour last few years but looks like just talk.

Ry cooder band, that cooder/Skaggs deal was just a tease.

el Rayo x reunion tour, some say mr. Dave has the antitillitus but I think that's just a cop out.

tom waits, just one more tom, please!

talking heads reunion, but only of Byrne's heart is really in it, otherwise I'll respect his decision not to nostalgisize to that degree

The Radiators. (Not gonna happen, but I wish it would.)

Dweezil Zappa with a real Zappa alumni band. Bury the hatchet with Ike Willis, bring along Terry Bozio and/or Chester Thompson. Call up one Ruth Underwood, find Tommy Mars and Patrick O'Hearn. Ian Underwood and Denny Wally. But sadly, Dweezil's pride will keep him from ever doing anything like this. It would be pretty fantastic though, and kind of stick it to the Zappa Family Trust. Ram it up their poop chute.

Financially, I think it would do very well.

kdtu doing Prince's dirty mind.

They've done a few select dates but a full tour sure would b nice.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band with South Side Johnny and the Jukes

>>>Financially I think it'd do very well.

I doubt well enough to cover dweezil's overhead for an ensemble of that size of personnel in that salary bracket.

Is there nothing left but washed up old guy tours?

Faces

Rolling Stones with Nikki Hill

A new Courtney Barnett album and tour.

I would love to see Oingo Boingo play live again. The last time I saw them may have been in about 85. I still enjoy all of their tunes and Danny Elfman has proven to be one creative musical guy over the years.
