Todd Rundgren

Forums:

Anyone seen him lately?

Worth going to Fort Lauderdale for???

Tim you may have to go on a reconnaissance mission, to let us know.

XM was playing a lot of his guitar orientated stuff last week. Very impressive. This tour has - Prairie Prince on drums and Kasim Sulton on bass. The heart & soul of Utopia.

As long as he s not doing the "vegas" like big band showman tour that bombed a few years ago...id go see him anywhere...especially w that lineup ^

Saw him at The Keswick Theater December 2015 and thought he was ok. While I'm not a big fan I do appreciate some of his earlier weirdness:

I guess I'm not a huge fan of concerts consisting of mostly short pop songs, but he was in good form and the songs were solid, so there's that. He was more of a bucket list guy for me to see, so while I probably wouldn't go see him again, I was glad I did.

City in my Head!

was thinking about hitting St Pete but I think  Margareta  fest is winning out not for the bands but because it is within walking distance to the hotel, going to tie one on

I'm also a fan of his early work, though I haven't seen him before on his own & I'm not familiar with anything recent. Saw him 3 times with different lineups of Ringo Starr's All Star Band & thought he did a good job.

This is supposed to be a power trio type show/tour, not a pop or Las Vegas act. Todd mostly on guitar not keys.

The concept looks really cool and doseable, but like almost all todd tours, selfish me would rather be in charge of writting the setlist

was curious as well about this tour

supposed to work his show later this month- not sure if I'll be back.

Yes, go to the show. Todd is a genius in my eyes.
