Titans vs Chiefs

Forums:

It's 14 - 0 Chiefs So Far on ABC

Kelce got his lights turned out.  Titans are frauds.

I have better things to do than watch the NFL on a Saturday.  No judgment towards those that don't.

Piss poor officiating.

My man Alex had an amazing first half.

Lotta poor play and general incompetence in this game.

Meh.

looks like the chiefs want to give this one away.

It's what they do, Fitzman.

Titans 22 Chiefs 21 Really !

It's a wild-card game Mark, what do you expect?

So who are you hoping for, Eli Manning, Kirk Cousins, the little guy from Oklahoma, maybe Alex Smith?

I can’t believe the titans might win this game

There's always a couple of teams who make the wild-card game that can't play defense at a play-off level. And those teams always lose.

The real playoffs begin next week.

Crushed In Kansas.... Terrible Call That Was A Fumble

I guess I'm rooting for Cousins, Lance.

Back a dumptruck full of money up and be done with it.

Mariota's block on the linebacker was huge.  Maybe the kid has it after all.  And the fumble isn't the call that needs to be looked at (it wasn't a fumble, runner was down).  The Mariota blocked pass for a td was wrong.  He was over the line and they didn't even review it.

The bad fumble call was on the Mariotta sack, where he fumbled and the Chiefs recovered and the ref called forward progress.

Awful call.

And on the mariotta to mariotta TD pass, they go by where the ball was in regards to over the line. His foot can be over the line of scrimmage and as long as the ball is released behind the line, the play is good. It was a TD play, so it was reviewed.

That being said, typical Andy Reid, eh?

When ya up 14-3 at half...at home...vs that team?

Only tony romo and alex smith could lose..let the mahomes era begin

It was 21-3 at halftime.

And the bad call was the tickytack holding call on that Alex Smith first down run on the final drive. Refs look to call penalties, even if the transgression has no effect on the play. Rotten bastards.

And Smith didn't lose that game. Losing Kelce, who's the key to that offense and Kansas City's pathetic defense lost that game.

Nice work Chiefs..

** cough, cough **

>>>And Smith didn't lose that game. Losing Kelce, who's the key to that offense and Kansas City's pathetic defense lost that game.

Agreed Lance, but Alex ends up being a target - again.  And Tennessee's coaches made some great adjustments, and KC's didn't.

I thought some of the KC play calling was poor, too. I wouldn't have called for a 30 yard pass on that last play. But losing Kelce was key.

And why no call for targeting Kelce? He obviously went with the helmet first.

Oh well, we'll see where my Utah man Alex ends up. What a shame for such a great year to go to waste.

11 carries for Hunt???

5 or so in 2nd half? Guy has dominated in fourth quarters all year (in games he did dominate etc)...

Scratching my head looking at that stat...andy reid influenced a lil remembering Colts HUGE comeback vs his Chiefs cpl years ago???

One problem Andy...Tennessee doesnt have Andrew Luck and the leagues most potent offense (colts were a machine that year)...this game rests on him, much more than Smith for sure....but, no matter, Mahomes will be starting qb in KC next year

I totally agree ^

Typical Andy Reid.

Poor Alex - just can't  win the big one- or wild card

You MUST be able to score in the second half, dude.

and no excuses for losing his tight end- you must step up.

Klondie, he runs for a first down driving on the TN 45 and his receiver holds. They're 15 yards from a game-winning FG under 2 minutes and this is HIS fault? He did his job.

And when you hit people in the numbers, they ought to catch the ball. KC offense in 2nd half was horrendous. Defense too. Was in and out of the game so I didn't see it all.

That missed FG didn't help. But I know, you don''t like Alex. That's OK. He don't like you either.

sorry slick - he's failed too many times in the post season - all they needed was an FG.

Throws a 30 yard incompletion on 4th & 8- ok maybe he didn't  call that play ,  but winning QB's almost always find a way to keep the drive alive.

I don't dislike him- just seen him on the losing end too many times.

dilly dilly

>>>winning QB's almost always find a way to keep the drive alive

Yeah, but they can't do it alone. Gotta have competent help and play calling.

OK pal, no Gov't Mule for you! Hope you're enjoying it up north.

I'm off to Vegas to go protest the Bundy's. Looking for the perfect cargo shorts for the occasion. See ya.

Read an article about this game somewhere it led with "Fans from Phila would not be surprised at the outcome of the game".  Amen to that!  Then we were "rewarded" with Chip Kelly :(

^^^^Who moved 3 Pro Bowl players, Evan Mathis, De Shawn Jackson, and LeSean McCoy(Solid HOF candidate), and got back an undersized linebacker still on the shelf from major knee surgery.  Smart move UCLA....

THANK YOU PATAGONIA

White people and their protests.
