Thom, how do you feel about impeachment

Forums:

And what do you think?

how would you vote, and why?

What are your values?

you could choose to be honest, and actually share your thoughts, motivations, fears, feelings, and rationale

Fuck that guy

As anticlimactic as a US Blues encore.

That’s what she said.

Did Trump's comments about good people on both sides after Charlottesville change your mind at all? If not, why?

Do you support your party's decision to not hold Devin Nunez accountable for working with Rudy Juliani in Ukraine to smear Joe Biden? If you agree with them, why?

< And what do you think?

Hahaaa and, thommy can you hear me

Don't waste your breath, he has yet to smash the mirror

We often wonder what he is feeling - has he ever heard a word we've said.

He has never said anything personal, nor original

and it seems he never will, it's kinda sad

>>any Thom post is anticlimactic<<

and he will never open the kimono

he will never be honest, Perhaps he is unable

I do not think he is intimidated, just "a lost puppet", or under mind control

personally, I always hated US Blues, they used to play encores and third sets

human?   Hard to tell

hate is real, not fade away

I guess I will speak in lieu of blues US

forgone conclusion:

he wants a monarchy

No need for a constitution (library?)

does he wear a monocle too?

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,”

Chuck Schumer

 just "a lost puppet"<<<

Let me tell you

you are dishonest, because you choose to never answer or tell your truth

This might help you answer, just answer one question please, without posting a packaged deflection:

Do you think it was OK for aide to be frozen 90 minutes after the phone call?

thank you in advance

What's wrong with you people? It's the holiday season. Didn't your parents teach you not to pick on the hopeless and feeble minded. Thom is a lost sailor, been way too long at sea. He'd need a miracle every day to bring him back to reality. We all know, just based on morality alone from the thing's he's said, that anyone who supports Trump, has been either brainwashed or lost touch with humanity, compassion and kindness. I always thought a president was supposed to try and unite us despite our differences. There is no compromise any more, and I fear our political system has become terribly broken.  I'm no fan of the Democrats, but I am a fan of Democracy and freedom.

I try and be an optimist, but lately it's been hard.  The world has changed so much in just a hundred years. What we as human beings have done to this planet just since this country became a nation is mind boggling.  In just the last 25 alone since Jerry died even more so. I never thought we'd have anything like another civil war in this country, but if we did it would sort of be like the French Revolution between the haves and the have nots. Maybe it's technology and social media and that everything is right in our faces and at our fingertips 24/7. We are living in a horribly dangerous time, a country deeply divided, with way too much hate, violence, and mass killings. I truly fear for my children's future. We have forgotten what it truly means to be an American.

I'm not a religious man but I am a spiritual on. I try to connect with the natural world.  I will never buy a gun. My belief is that other than to kill another human it serves no purpose. The world has progressed enough that we no longer need it for food. I will never understand a hunters mentality in this day and age, I fail to see the "sport". However, there is a way to accommodate you all without having to own a gun. Maybe some day I'll  lay out my plan but I'm not in the mood to start that debate today. Fuck gun manufacturers and the second amendment. They are the two biggest reasons for all the mass deaths and shootings. The world is vastly different than when our founding fathers wrote it. It is way past the time for a constitutional convention to amend it.

I have tried to live my life under the premise of just do the next right thing. I will try to continue to do so.

Peace to all.

Sure thing.

Also, fuck Thom.

The Raiders haven’t won their division since 2002 and haven’t won the Superbowl since 1983. They suck, and have sucked for a very long time. On top of that they have consistently fucked over their fan base.

Try telling that to a Raiders fan. Republicans have become Raider fans.

As Vox's Aaron Rupar aptly put it, this is the guy at the end of the bar you pick up your drink to get away from. He's the guy on the subway with whom you avoid eye contact. He's the dude on the street corner yelling at your car. He is your drunkest uncle, if Ol' Kevin's rants were continually cheered by crowds of hundreds or even thousands of people. (The official story is that Trump is a teetotaler. Does that make this display better?) That's another unnerving thing here: it's not just that the President of the United States can once again be found slurring his words and making delusional claims about the near-death of Christmas—the most ubiquitous holiday in the history of humankind—and struggling to finish a sentence. It's that his fans don't care. Whatever he says, they'll cheer, because he said it. Doesn't need to be true. Doesn't need to make a lick of sense.

That was driven home elsewhere in the speech, where a patented Windmill Rant appeared.

hail to the chief.   And raiders fans

God bless lawlessness

Some political love for Thom, Merry (right wing) Christmas

Ex-GOP Congressman Says President Trump is 'Morally' Unfit for Office

December 24, 2019

A former Republican congressman has taken aim at President Donald Trump, saying he is "intellectually, and emotionally" unfit for the office.

Ex-Michigan Rep. David Trott wrote a letter to The Atlantic saying "high unemployment" and a "stagnating economy" under a Democratic presidency would be better than four more years of Trump in the White House.

He also accused the commander-in-chief of creating "chaos in our foreign policy" and expressed hope that Trump would be removed from office.

In his letter to The Atlantic, shared by Crain's Detroit Business senior editor Chad Livengood on social media, the former GOP representative said he had been "flummoxed" about the 2020 election before reading an earlier article in The Atlantic detailing how some military officials viewed President Trump.

"I will now have to consider voting for a Democrat," Trott wrote. "High unemployment, a stagnating economy, and massive debt for a few years are better than alienating the rest of our allies, getting into a nuclear war with Iran, or allowing 10,000 Islamist soldiers to be set free in Syria. Trump is psychologically, morally, intellectually, and emotionally unfit for office."

The former congressman then told the magazine the country could "only hope Congress impeaches and removes" the president from office.

Newsweek has contacted the White House for a response to Trott's letter in The Atlantic.

Speaking to The New York Times for an article published Sunday, the former GOP congressman repeated his remark that Trump is "unfit for office" and claimed "a lot of Republicans feel the same way." He added, "But if they say that, the social media barrage will be overwhelming."

Elsewhere in his interview with the Times, he said he decided not stand for re-election "as a Trumper" in 2018. The former Michigan representative's run of attacks on President Trump comes a year after he retired from Congress at the end of his second term.

Trott also told The Detroit News he "probably would have" backed Trump's impeachment if he still had a seat in the House of Representatives, and pointed to Michael Bloomberg as a Democratic presidential candidate he could back in 2020.

Speaking to the local paper about Trott, Meshawn Maddock, co-founder of Michigan Trump Republicans and chairwoman of the 11th Congressional District Republican Committee, called the ex-congressman a "Democrat in disguise."

She told the newspaper: "We have always suspected that David Trott is not conservative. He's certainly not conservative enough for us in the 11th District."

In response to the Detroit News article on Twitter, she also told Trott to "crawl back into your very little hole."

I like the way that T-shirt gives the Dems a term between each Trump family member term.

Impeachment working.

Sigh...

I'm only responding because I was called out by name.

It's a joke and will only help with his re-election.  Whatever you think of what he did in that call there was nothing in their that meets the definition of "high crimes and misdemeanors" but since your side has (quite literally) been calling for his impeachment since the night he was elected it's obvious that any pretense was going to suffice so here we are.

^ Hi Thom.  I'll ask you my very basic question in a fifth thread now.

Which is more severe:

Lying under oath about receiving sexual favors from an intern in the white house or undermining the security of a strategic ally for political favor, and then lying about it?  Leave parties out of it.  It's a simple question.

"Iran, Iran so far away, I couldn't get away."

Come to think of it, Trump has Flock Of Seagulls hair.

Do you favor war (serious question)?

what is you definition of high crimes?

Your stand on abortion?   (Trying to understand the drivers / values of the republicans)

what is your view on what is moral or ethical?   Is lying constantly a part of your assessment?

i wish the potus would take a three month golfing vacation the world would be a safer place

Crickets from Thom now on my 5th attempt to ask him a most basic, straight forward question.

I'm not a big fan of call out threads.

I'm surprised that Thom responded at all.

Enjoy your Thursday,

JD

It is very puzzling how some folks do sort of “demand” for trolls to communicate to/with them directly.

Like there is ever gonna be any actual substance or meaningful exchange there.
