Let's see if the Predators can catfish the Penguins tonight in Nashville and set up a Game 7 for The Cup back in Pittsburgh.
Pretty decent Appalachia Cup so far, but the Preds are going to have to show up with a little more than they brought in Game 5 if they want to extend this series.

That's a bitter pill for the Predators fans, especially after that first goal got wiped off. It was still a great run for a #8 seed. They're a talented team, who will no doubt be back in the mix next year. Well done, Nashville.
Meanwhile, congratulations to Pittsburgh and all the Penguins fans. Haven't had a back-to-back Cup winner in a little bit. While the Penguins are my Capitals nemesis, I respect and admire the way they play the game. A deserving repeat and a budding dynasty. Somewhere in the great beyond, I like to believe that Louie Lardo is smiling and drinking nectar from the Cup.
The NHL delivered the goods with an excellent playoffs this year. Everyone enjoy the off-season!
