Tonight, The Terrapin Family Band — Grahame Lesh, Ross James, Alex Koford, Jason Crosby, and Eric Krasno — along with special guest Peter Rowan and a very exciting unannounced guest, come together for one night of unrivaled musicianship and two Grateful Dead-infused sets live from The Guild Theatre!

Does sound like a Phil Lesh appearance , but they teased  that last time to help sell tix and it didn't materialize- so don't count on it..

Will be a fun show regardless

Peter Rowan is out with COVID.

Fuck

guess the pressure will be a bit higher now for the rumored special guest to show up

Molly Tuttle is in  town and weir likely to be surprised with a few other special guests,  according to my source. I'll miss seeing Peter Rowan but it's going to be a fine night of music.

Bobby with the TFB sounding real good right now, free stream on fans.live.

It was a good shoe

Well, that turned out to be a Bob Weir rock 'n roll show.

Apparently he wasn't supposed to, but because he felt like it he played the entire show with the band.

A family band indeed.

It was a family show. A show played in Bob's old neighborhood. A show played right around the corner from where the Grateful Dead played their very first shows 57 years ago. Right down the street from where Jerry, Hunter, Nelson, Pig, Weir, etc. played shows 60 years ago.

It was all pretty much off the cuff, and it was all pretty much damn good, and it was all damn fun.

AND..................... everything was played at the "proper" tempo's, the acoustic songs and the electric. And Bob nailed it all.

That was pretty damn fun as well.

My ONLY critique..... there should have been more Molly Tuttle.

But that's a nit-pick.

Maybe not a "all-time" show, but a DAMN fun one with lots of DAMN cool esthetics involved as well.

We're family.

Atta' boy Bobby.

Just a little rock 'n roll tonight.

And on it goes.

Far out.

How lucky are we?!

this all turned out just exactly perfect. happy thanksgiving!

I love to hear the happy glowing reports. Thanks.

Ugh. What a mess. Must have been fun

Sounds like everyone had a real good time.

Anyone get the setlist?

Seems a little weird Phil wasn't around.  Hope he's just taking it easy, and that Peter Rowan is on the mend.

Sponge Bob Square Pants - My Tighty Whities Lyrics (I'm not sure how derivative Hunter's version is)

My tighty whiteys
Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty whiteys

Who makes my hole like worthwhile
So I start every day with a smile

You fit like a glove
You make me proud of you
That's why I lo-o-ve you
My tighty whiteys

Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty whiteys

Don't ever brag or dispear
(Tighty whiteys)
You alone always make a great pa-ai-r
(Tighty whiteys)
It's high-time I told you
How I love to hold you, washcloth and fo-o-ld you
My tighty whiteys

Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty white

So cozy and comfy
So cotten-y and cuddley
So snug when you hug me so tight
Hiding under my outwear
Only I know you're in there
So dazzily,dazziling white

We must have been meant to be
Cuz I've changed you and you've changed me-ee-ee
When you're old and gray I won't throw you away
I'll spend laundry day with
My tighty whiteys

Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty white
Tighty whiteys

Wait, what?! I was dancing to THAT?! Oy.

I guess the tour rumors that Grahame Lesh was a goody goody Barney kid were wrong...he was Funkadelic Sponge Bob kid all along
