Terrapin Clubhouse announces Phil Podcast!

Very cool!  Threats of the non stop / show to show / continual Dark Star, and weirdness...    Le Zone approves!

Hey Now!

>>>Hey Now!

lol - my thoughts exactly.

Do I need an Apple device to access this stuff?

Are you able to watch things on YouTube? If so, you can certainly see the YouTube videos Phil does as Terrapin Clubhouse.

I do use Apple devices. I would check for the Podcasts wherever you usually check for Podcasts. I don't do Podcasts very often so I don't know about possibilities.

Hey Vandals

Back in the 90's I was fortunate enough to be invited to the GDHQ in Novato as a licensee. I pulled up to a very nondescript warehouse, I think it was an old Coca Cola bottling plant, upon entering I was brought into the boardroom where an amazing hand carved table and set of chairs were.  The chair Phil is sitting in I believe one of the chairs from the boardroom.    I was told that one day a deadhead dropped them off.

I also got a full tour of the facility including a peak into the vault (couldn’t go in), a studio, merchandise shipping and packing, met Tiff, Jerry’ brother. The whole crew was very gracious.

Thanks for keeping it weird, Phil.

Más Macho is a beer unlike any other... but did you know where the inspiration behind our biggest, baddest, most macho-est Double IPA comes from? That's... | By New Realm Brewing Co. -

It is a boardroom chair and was displayed prominently at TXR. I sat in it plenty of times!

Reich: Well then if we wanted to talk about "Dark Star", could you say anything about where it comes from?

Garcia: You gotta remember that you and I are talking about two different "Dark Stars." You're talking about the "Dark Star" which you have heard formalized on a record, and I'm talking about the "Dark Star" which I have heard in each performance as a completely improvised piece over a long period of time. So I have a long continuum of "Dark Stars" which range in character from each other to real different extremes. "Dark Star" has meant, while I'm playing it, almost as many things as I can sit here and imagine, so all I can do is talk about "Dark Star" as a playing experience.

Reich: Well, yeah, talk about it a little.

Garcia: I can't. It talks about itself.
