Really good video here.

They all seem to be just going thru the motions except for Jerry, who is pretty chipper in this.

I was at this show.

If you were there, you know it was hot as balls. It took us 4 hours to get in. I can almost understand going through the motions a bit, although I didn't remember it being an uninspired show.

My last Grateful Dead stadium show. Nothing like the smell of frat boys pissing on the tarp in July.

aw man, crazy time.  Last time they let you camp there i think?  All I remember is woodstocks and lots of fireworks from fans after the show.  Almost caused me a mild freak out. Thx for the link!

Hot is right!  I walked around with a bag of ice on my head, no joke.  And I shared when asked.

The humidity tour. A sweaty summer.

It aint the heat, its just so fckn hot outside....lol...

All summer...:)

Ive mentioned this show cpl times on old zone...this is show that a friend of mine, attending first show, w me, and our band of about 30 , dropped to tarp..(we were right to side of sound board) at opening notes to Eyes....after a little prompting from friends..(i was a little out of focus) i took her to the patriots locker room where she was diagnosed as severly dehydrated. I said, "great, so give her an i.v. of sugar water, and lets get her back on her feet."

They said..."no, we cant administer any I.V. here.."...

And off we left, via ambulance...parting the crowded concourse, parkin lot...etc...off to Norwood Hospital, where i spent second set bazically recommending that anyone tied to there bed should just hum a lil clapton, and ride out the next six hours.

What a night...omg...lots of stories from that night...and whole tour...

Cant wait to see movie in May!

It was so hot my cocaine was melting...

i was the haz, but then i can no haz, so.... now, you can no haz too.

"Nothing like the smell of frat boys pissing on the tarp in July."

The next year it was someone puking on it behind the board.

I was aiming for you...    sad

(Now) Wife's first show. She proposed 2 days later.

She had wanted to propose the next day (my birthday), but our crew kind of lost the 3rd floating in a hotel pool in South Attleboro :)

Cant wait to see movie in May!<<<

That was the show they picked for last year's Meet Up At The Movies.  Wonder what's on tap for this year?  Will they keep mining the Mega-Dead era, with it's abundance of high quality footage pro-shot for the video screens at the stadiums and sheds, or perhaps show something from an earlier period?  Say, Egypt, 1978?

That Friend opener is one of my tops tops favorites.

Keys snafu and all.

"I was aiming for you..."

You must be able to see into the future because it happened before I walked by.  Didn't see the culprit, just their residue.

"Wonder what's on tap for this year?"

I think this years pick is The GD Movie, 40th anniversary celebration.

They turned the fire hoses on the folks up front at set break. It was hot as hell. Saw ABB the night before at the Ballpark in OOB, ME. That was a fun weekend.

I did that whole summer tour. I remember if being very hot.

I passed out at RFK from the heat.

Yes, I also hated Foxboro Stadium. One lane in and one lane out.

>The next year it was someone puking on it behind the board.

Lol. That was probably a former friend of mine.  We weren't even drinking but had taken something that came on real fast and strong and he was literally spun dizzy. Healy told us to get the fuck away from the board.  Crazy day.

>Yes, I also hated Foxboro Stadium. One lane in and one lane out.

Traffic for miles.   The staff and the pd were high up there on the asshole scale as well.

That's pretty funny Jonas.  I have a picture indelibly printed in my mind of greenish yellow chunky puke splayed out all over the bright blue tarp and thinking: "That isn't going anywhere."
