This latest chemical attack is a real head scratcher.
Why would Assad use a chemical weapon on civilians right when his forces were already on the verge of overrunning the area hit? Seems like a dumb move with no tactical or strategic benefit.
I am not a big one for conspiracy theories, but something is just not right here. Anyway, I suspect the French and Americans are going to start dropping bombs on regime targets in 3, 2, 1 . . . .

With Trump involved and him possibly being "compromised", I leave open just about any possibility at this point. I believe he's willing to drag us into a war to save his own skin. He's also been noticeably quiet the past week or two in terms of what seem to be far fewer contentious tweets. Couple this with him trying to appear tough on Russia / Oligarchs in recent times, it's possible Trump is in the midst of a "PR campaign" smooth the way forward for a predetermined course of military action.

The relationship between Israel and Russia is pretty strange. Israel recently lifted visa requirements on Russians, and they flock there for vacations. Israel also didn’t expel any Russian diplomats when the rest of the West did. They need the Russian tourism and money. There’s also some funky connections between Russian oligarchs, Israeli rabbis and Kushner.

Yeah. One would think that Trump would want to dominate the weekend news cycle with Syria as opposed to whatever other shit is going on, so it would be safe to assume it would go down tonight. Its 2:30 am in Syria now and if the bombing will start, it would happen around 3:00 - 4:00 am (last year's missile strikes were at 4:00 am and pre-dawn is the typical time for that sort of thing).
If it doesn't happen in the next two hours, probably won't happen until tomorrow night at the earliest.
