Those two Oakland Aud shows were the start of an epic ten year run at that old dump. The start of a love affair between people and a building.
Watching that video is something else. I had just turned 19 when those shows happened. 40 years ago. I was just a kid.
Hell, the band were still just kids. Listen to Jerry sing, like an angel. Listen how gently they played, oh man.
I loved that band.
