Fourth of July!   Booze, Fireworks, and America!   Fuck yeah!

Stopped by the "Bomber Brothers" fireworks stand this morning across the river up in Vancouver WA (can't get the good stuff in Oregon).  You have to go to the Rez to get the really good stuff.

About 20 years ago we were trippin and a arrant firework went on our neighbors porch roof. Lady comes out very calm.....can you boys stop shooting off those bottle rockets and put te fire out on my house please........Doh

Year round I use so called water resistant firecrackers(the small red ones with the green fuse) on the moles. Follow the trail. Insert fire cracker. Mole dies of cardiac arrest or tunnels into the neighbors yard.

Voila. 

A dog helps too.

That garden hose isn't going to quite get the job done. 

Found a box full 'o various Fireworks while cleaning up the Barn.  Figure they're 1993 or 1994 vintage,  maybe from Montana ?

I'm sure 25 + years of seasonal temperature / humidity fluctuations have made them Extra Safe.

Fortuitously,  I have some decent Añejo Tequila.

Great minds thunk alight.  Haven't tried the Vintage Fireworks yet -- rained a Ton last night.
THat's actually good because the field is wet enough where it won't catch ablaze.

The Tequila comes in unique handblown - looking glass bottles like Patrón imitation.
